I will NEVER understand the mentality of this company. Why cant we have holidays off like everyone else? My team was told at the beginning of the year that we had to work Thanksgiving and Christmas this year if we had it off last year, no exceptions. I even worked last Thanksgiving but still was told I could not have it off. So I get up at 5:30 this morning to work, actually was lucky to get two hours in and then, that wonderful sign comes up: NO JOBS AVAILABLE. I happen to have made Thanksgiving plans for AFTER my work shift today, and there is no way I am going to try to make up work all night, that is if there is any.
Anyone else peeved about this? And on top of that, got an email from the PS yesterday saying Dont ask me to change any of your schedules, as I will be on PTO until next Tuesday. Must be nice...the upper suits get the holidays off! Arrghhhh! |
