I don't have any Worker's Comp issues with MedQuist, but I too have been waiting over 8 weeks for my COBRA information. I have contacted them multiple times to no avail. I also have been waiting this amount of time for shipping labels to return their equipment. These too were promised. I refuse to spend my own money to send back the equipment.
On a side note, I did work for Medquist for 17 years, put in a two week notice which I worked until the last second of my shift, and never received any kind of acknowledgement that I had resigned. Oh, I take that back, one call from supervisor left on my answering machine to call her, which I did, only to get her answering machine. No exit interview, no thanks for your service, just pretty much don't let the door hit you on the way out.
There is life after the Q and it is SO much better! I actually love my job again.
