My primary is extremely definite about this one - no hyphens between year old and all ages must be alpha and not numeric - ie seventy-six year old. They also specify that numerals can only be used in measurements and drug dosages - every other number must be spelled out, as in: twenty-three warts found on nose. Best advice, check the client profile and go from there. Even with this clearly spelled out in the client profile, I have seen QA change it back to thirty-year-old, convinced the hyphens have to be there. |
