We used to joke about the first computer because every time I'd go visit her, it was still in her office on the corner of her desk. MQ never sent her the shipping labels apparently, and she wasn't about to just send it on her own, so she kept it as a very large paperweight.
At some point they sent her computer #2 which she used up until about 6 months ago when she quit the Q. They sent her the shipping labels a few weeks later, which she admitted she managed to misplace at some point. I was a bit confused by her lack of concern, but believe it or not, to this day, she says she has still not received any more labels/boxes, etc. AFTER SIX MONTHS.
I told her I'd ask about it (she just left on some sort of a church mission in Africa for four to six months). After all this time, do you think they're going to send her more labels or does the computer just end up forgotten about?
I can't imagine her wanting TWO of their computers taking up space in her office. |
