each time I had a power glitch and an older file was overwriting the good one I had saved. Tech support helped me out there and advised I get a battery backup for the computer. Did that and also got a surge stopper put on my house. Hope that works.
However, my supervisor said a former employee's expansion file got scrambled because it was too big. Mine is huge and I wonder if that is my problem.
How does that check box for standards work in the expansions dialog box? Is that a way I can move some of my larger expansions, such as sample op reports, there? Maybe that will solve my problem. When I check that box, the with box darkens, but I can't do anything with it.
When I sign off from DQS, it seems like it takes an awfully long time to save my user.aco file. This is another reason why I think the file might be larger than manageable.
Your help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks.
(I work for a hospital, BTW, not MQ. Our supervisor and QA person are the only ones who manage/edit the standards files that we access only by using alt-S. These are standards provided by them.)
Thanks, again.
