I have not had any trouble saving entire reports in DQS as expansions, and this is the first time I have heard that some are unable to do it. I use the letter t, for template, in front of the expansion name. Example: For a total knee arthroplasty, I put t for template, the dictator's last name, and then the procedure - tcooperTKA. I have hundreds of them and have never lost any or had any trouble using them. I don't believe there is a limit to how many you can save. Have you tried asking tech support about this? Maybe there is some glitch in your system or some obscure setting that needs to be changed?
I would not survive without these whole-report expansions especially doing operative reports, where a lot of dictators say the same things in every report, and understand how upseting this must be for you.  |
