This is going to be very interesting to see if clients read their reports and notice the change, or, more importantly legally, if MQ informs clients if the work is done in India.
The service I used to work for was put out of business by losing a major account to India. In the past, clients that had gone to an Indian transcription company, usually came running back to us. Unfortunately, with the resultant closing of the service, we were not there to take that account back. I have noticed an account or two that we had go to India is in the list of client profiles, so obviously they weren't happy with off shore outsourcing.
Frankly, I want out of MT altogether. My earnings have gone down, down, down over the last 20 years. Unfortunately, the career I want to train for has classes only in the daytime. I'm trying to figure out if I could actually successfully work nights and go to school days. It didn't work too well when I went to college eons ago. It's hard to fit in time to sleep. |
