I'm confused. I thought QA was not going to change things in reports that are minor. Here are 2 examples from the same report:
I transcribed: The patient had a G tube. (QA then inserted a dash between G and tube)
I transcribed: C difficile (Q placed a period after the C and changed to C. difficile.
I checked in the BOS, and it states to leave out the period.
In any case, both ways are acceptable for both things above. I had sent in a report with one blank (QA did fill it in---much appreciated), and I'm not on 100% QA so why would QA make these changes at all? Seems like a waste of their time.
I'm assuming (I hope anyway) that these kind of changes don't count against me in any way--the changes where QA makes these kinds of preference-type corrections. ????
