It is my personal opinion that QA is essential. On the very rare occasions I receive a comment from QA, it is accepted by me wholeheartedly and I put in the extra effort to be more attentive to what I'm doing. I feel a lot of MTs have it in their mindset that are inferior to QA. Then there are others who absolutely cannot take constructive criticism well and get on the defense if an error is found. These are both wrong attitudes. QA is just another set of ears to help out.
