I think it is really sad that someone would try to tear other people down - student

Posted: Feb 18, 2014

when we are just trying to do our job, and provide for our families.  I will be deleting my previous comments, and I welcome anyone who wants to join me.  We know what our job entails, obviously the original poster does not.  We are better than this.  This is a waste of all our time -- time we do not have.  I feel sorry for the poster; he/she could spend her/his life making positive changes . . . instead he/she needs the attention of getting other people upset.  Well not me -- not anymore.  My time is too valuable for this.

You are the original poster! Who are you talking about? - nm

Here's the thing - You have to ignore these posts

You do not have to respond, you do not have to erase your posts. These people are a regular occurrence. Every time we are just minding our own business, talking about coding, helping each other and things look just fine on this board, they come on and drop this tired announcement. They must be bored. Just ignore them. What they are looking for is drama - fresh drama. They want us to argue and fight back. Bah, it's old and weak and a bore. Let's talk about coding.

I am erasing some of my posts because . . . - student

It will erase their replies as well, and they can't stand that. There have been studies done on internet trolls, and it has been discovered that a common link between them is personality traits of, what they call "The Dark Triad". These are Narcissism -- grandiosity, pride and lack of empathy; Machiavellianism -- which is a disregard of morality and a focus on self; and finally psychopathy, which includes such characteristics as antisocial behavior and selfishness. Anyone reading the posts by them can obviously see traits of all three -- their concern is not for anyone in coding, it is more a sense of how they know better than anyone else and a need to grab attention. What is truly sad is that these people, with no lack of empathy or compassion for others, actually reproduce and raise children who become psychopaths and bullies. And yes, I learnt that in Junior High.

Yes, I think she does hate it - Pretty obvious who she is

It is mostly just one individual. She flits over here to plant the seeds of nastiness, then stirs up the soil by posting as several people.

The dark triad! I love it! It fits.

Labral Tear On MRI Sounds Like "passomneumonic'?
Jun 18, 2012

sounds like passomneumonic? MRI does reveal evidence of a partial‑thickness tear of the supraspinatus tendon as well as tendinosis of the infraspinatus and subscapularis tendons. There is also an abnormality at the anterior superior labrum, which may be consistent with a labral tear but is not passomneumonic based on the fact that this is a noncontrast study. passopneumonic? sounds something like that... I usually come to this forum for good, solid, BRUTALLY HONEST opinon and help.  I have seen this field deteriorate over the years and got to wondering if the suits at MQ have any idea how long some of us have done this work and how poorly they are treating highly qualified, experiences MTs.  I am very curious to see how many years of experience we have.  I personally have 28 years experience and for the past 3 years have not brought in more than 20K.   When I used ...

To All Of You QA People.
Feb 08, 2011

I know this is a little thing, but after 2 years it is a little annoying.  Why do you ask MTs to look up physician names and addresses that are not in the database and to send to QA?  You NEVER enter them into the system, not once.  I have kept a list of physician names and addresses that we frequently use that are not in the database.  I send them to QA every time, requesting that they be entered.  I wonder what your response would be if we sent it blank?  Just a l ...
