Does anyone have any info about SOAP transcription?

HEADINGS ARE SOAP:

SUBJECTIVE

OBJECTIVE

ASSESSMENT

PLAN

Format varies. Some prefer to have HEADING with text beginning on next line...some prefer to have HEADING with text beginning on same line. Depends on account specifics. Traditionally though I'd imagine HEADING with text beginning on next line (at least my preference).

I thought you were a newbie wanting information on SOAP note. You are probably wanting information about SOAP transcription company. I don't know anything about them personally but they do have a website to visit...seems nice.

I am amazed a company would use this name, the abbreviation for "Subjective, Objective, Assessment and Plan."

Their website is a nice one and they have tied the name of the company in nicely with a marketing strategy.

I think they probably started off as SOAP Trancription because they started off doing primarily clinic transcription (SOAP notes) but now also do other transcription as well.

I thought the same as you at first, but after looking at their website, I think it is fairly clever how they managed to make it work for them.

Learntranscription.com. I went through that program and have never had a problem finding a job, even as a newbie.

I had applied to them and negotiated for days over pay, I did check them out and was very impressed with the background but the pay was less than what I could work for.

I have over 15 years of experience in this field. Tested with SOAP just to be told I am not a "good fit". Is anyone else out there tired of taking the ridiculous tests and questionaires? And when you are a "fit" somewhere its at 6 cpl. Seriously? They want all our expertise, we pay for equipment, and now have to be IT specialists.
