any current info on Med-Scribe, NJ? - NotNewMT

Any current or recent MTs who work for this company in NJ have any info to share? Are all their accounts now voice rec? Plenty of work or still sporadic? Have they added tech support for nights and weekends? Thanks.

OMG RUN DON'T WALK! The accounts are almost 100% ESL, and the VR is the worst ever! You are lucky if you can make $30 in 10 hours! It is beyond awful. The people at Mediscribe are extremely nice, and very pleasant to work for, but their accounts are awful. They farm a lot of their work out to other services.

Thanks for the current info. It sounds like nothing has changed. The work was decent BEFORE it went to voice rec, but loaded with ESLs. Their platform was just horrible and nonproductive for voice rec. I had understood that they had different groups of MTs that worked for them, not just the people listed as their company MTs. The workload would just disappear at times, which explained that they sent work elsewhere.

Is there enough work during 3rd shift? Is the platform easy to use and easy to get your lines in with? How is the health insurance? I saw the premiums for the different levels but didn't see what type of coverage this is (deductible, copays, etc.). I'm a bit worried that your benefits hinge on getting your required lines in each pay period.
