Pay dates for January for MDI/Transcend - MDI/MT

Hi everyone:) Our new pay schedule came out for this year for MDI/Transcend, and I would like to know what date we are supposed to be paid for the beginning of January. I thought it was 01/14/2010, but am not sure about that. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks!

Six business days after the end of each payperiod. - Payperiods are 1-15 and 16-end of month. nm

Wrong! Jan 11 and Jan 25. It is 6 bus days after end of - the payperiod. ?

Sorry, but it is not wrong. MDI's total assimilation does not take place until 2/1/10, so we have a different pay schedule for January than regular Transcend. We were sent an email with the dates of our pay, so I do know what I am speaking of.

Just a few more weeks until you all become just - another transcender!

told that unless some people will change their schedules to work between 1 AM and 5 AM F,Sa, and Su, our Transcend overseas partners will step right on up. Just the beginning, I feel, of justification for all the **** I have been reading about here.

I knew this was going to happen. Once MDI sold us out (emphasis being on OUT) to Transcend, we should have started calling ourselves MedQuist Junior. I have a feeling that these are just the start of many new and unpalatable changes. I asked my friend how anyone could sleep at night who sold us out like that (I was with MDI for many years) to Transcend and she smiled cynically and said, 16 million dollars will buy you a lot of sleeping pills......

It should not be too bad. I think they may do what they did when the bought out the company I was working for, which is they will try to get everything converted over to their BeyondTXT and edit mode so they only have to pay 4 cents a line or whatever they told you. The edit mode has too much fixing and moving to really make any money. Just my experience! Maybe they will move your accounts to another program that may be better, who knows? I just believe their goal is to get the accounts over quickly, only pay for editing, and then hope you cannot make the 900 per pay period and qualify for benefits.

Probably a lot. At what they're making per line, they're probably considered even more sub-human than those of us in the US are. It's a big reverse pyramid scheme, and someday it's all going to IMPLODE. I'll be counting the days.

Pay checks for the pay period from 12/26/2009 thru 01/08/2010 will be deposited on 01/15/2010

Pay checks for the pay period from 01/09/2010 thru 01/22/2010 will be deposited on 01/29/2010

Paychecks for the pay period from 01/23/2010 thru 01/31/2010 will be deposited on 02/12/2010

You will receive your final MDI pay check (or direct deposit) for lines transcribed thru 01/31/2010 on Friday, 02/12/2010, and your first Transcend pay check (or direct deposit) on Tuesday, 02/23/2010.

so I did not get the checks until sometime in January/Feb. She never sent my 1099 on time when I worked for her so I doubt I will even get one this year unless she decides to say she paid me more than she really did (which I would not put past her). Do I have to claim the money she paid me in 2009 even though I should have received it in 2008?? MOT in MC POD yet pulled accounts not even in her POD grouping. Plus every week, she sends email with MOT dates, then adds another day to her MOT dates on her next email. First it was till the 16th, now she says the 17th!!!! Make up your mind. I'm kind of confused about this. Does a comma go after the date all the time? For example: LFTs from 10/23/2012, are within normal limits, or lab tests from 12/14/2011, are normal. I always put commas after the year when I worked at home. Now I work outside the home and I'm confused about it. Everything here is in a different format and I'm just not sure. More and more frequently, I am getting dictators who say, "the patient underwent the procedure IN 04/11/12" or "the patient underwent the procedure ON April 2012." It's just a little thing that's kind of annoying because you have to change the IN to ON and vice versa, but it's happening so often, I'm wondering if that's now an acceptable way to say it and I'm just not in the know. I am doing a lot of cancer clinic notes today (very long reports). They all have lots of dates in them due to the various tests and treatments the patients have had. This particular facility wants the dates typed out in XX/XX/XXXX fashion; however ASR types them out the long way, i.e., August 26, 2010, so I have to change them all to fit the client profile. In my company we use ordinals in dates, example May 4th 2011. Would there be a comma after the 4th in the date like there is if it was May 4, 2011? I know that oridinals in dates is not encourage, but the client specs require us to put the dates as they dictate them. I have a few SH entries to insert dates - for example, ydl inserts yesterday's date using the long format (July 9, 2013). I have one little problem though and can't seem to figure it out. When I use the "%e" parameter, I get "July 9, 2013" with the extra space between the month and the day. Once the days roll over to double digits this is not a problem. The payroll calendar (that is shown in Enrich) shows the week start and end dates. The quarter in which a given week falls is highlighted by a different color for each quarter. However, if you drop down a page below the actual payroll calendar, it shows the calendar quarter start and end dates that they go by for calculating production and/or QA bonus.
