I'm looking to change jobs & saw an ad for Med-Scribe in Naples, Florida. Ads, as you know, can sound really good, but they don't tell the true story. Would like to know about the good & bad aspect that MTs working for Med-Scribe have had & are having. I have voice files sent to me that I cannot play in Windows Media or Express Scribe. They will load in ES but show 00:00 duration. I thought possibly it was an encryption error as they possibly they are coming that way to be because they are secure but I sent to a friend and she can open them and play them. I was going to test with them, but first you are directed to download an .exe file which they say is a self-extracting zip file to install an audio driver. If I double left click on it, it pops up a box asking me to log in to a secure FTP site with a user name and password. If I right click and "save target as", it just says that it cannot download the file. Confused on whether to go with MedScribe or not. They seem like really nice people, but would be a pay cut (but they pay for spaces and now not getting paid for spaces). I saw posts on here about Medscribe pay cuts and really didn't believe it until it happened to me. They lost their 2 biggest accounts, so what do you do, you cut the employees' pay who were bringing in the income.
