Is anyone familiar with All Type in New Jersey? - Bing

Is anyone familiar with All Type in New Jersey? They sound like a good company to work for.

All Type - Very misleading

I would never work for that company again.

why???? - anon

just wondering why you would say that? Too much VR, low pay, etc... any info would be appreciated.

Long story but... - sm

Very schrewd and manipulative

I've been waiting for them to send my contract for better than three weeks.

About 3 or 4 years back... - I worked for them

[ In Reply To ..]
shoveling through heaping piles of Indian garbage (and garbage is being nice). After about 2 months they changed me over to another platform (I had started on DQS) which was completely intolerable and I quit.

Hmmmm. . . . .maybe I'm better off without that contract.

Does anyone have anything good to say about All Type? I worked for a place for 20 years before management became so bad. I had loved my job, yet I know there were employees who did not and quit, so I expect to hear bad things. Does anyone have good things to say about All Type.
Some good things.. - Alltype

Good things: They pay on time, and as a transcriptionist or VR editor, I think the accounts are pretty good. I dont mind the Docqscribe platform.

That being said, while I totally understand that what one person hates might not bother another, and nothing is all bad, it would be a mistake to turn your head the other way to some of their biggest faults, because they can really affect you and your bottom line.

They used to be a great place to work.. I find them to be one of the most demoralizing and demeaning places now.

But you are right, what i find demoralizing and demeaning, another might not, and I do respect that.

All Type just got bought out by MedQuist - AT/MQ

Effective this coming week, All Type will be part of MedQuist, so I'm sure they're not hiring now.

I was to start training later this week, but I did decline the job offer, even though they assured me nothing would change.

I don't understand why they would hire now - AT/MQ

since they will cease to be a company effective in a week or two. We've been assured the same thing that nothing will change, but I'm worried how true it is, and so are others here. It wouldn't be the first time we were told something that didn't turn out to be true.

MEDSCRIBE NEW JERSEY
Sep 25, 2011

I've been with Mediscribe, New Jersey for quite sometime as an MT.  They have always been just nice people to work for.  Then the office manager suddenly passed away (God rest her soul) and for a while we didn't have anyone except the same person who's been in QA ever since I've been there, she wonderful, always gives great feedback, and is very supportive on this just horrible account we are on in PA.   Then the owner, who is just the nicest man, hired th ...

Aug 22, 2013

First, thanks so much to the person who defended me.  And to Anon, what the h..... does that mean ? at least you're not Jersey?  Is your preconceived judgment the result of certain reality TV shows or are you just a natural-born BIGOT?  If so, then you are narrow-minded and easily  influenced.  Post after post you attack people on this board, always looking for an argument.  Bet you can't wait to reply back and write something nasty, because it makes your ...

a company by the name of dtsok (Digital Transcription in Oklahoma).  If so, what do you think of the platform they use?  It is called SpeechMotion (supposed to be similar to Chartnet).  I just started working there and now I wonder how an MT can produce enough lines to make it worth her while.  It seems rather involved and lots of steps to go through to complete a report.  Am I wrong?  Should I stick with it before I am really familiar with this platform or should I ...

Who Are Familiar With Bayscribe
Mar 06, 2013

Those of you who are familiar with Bayscribe, did you find:  The spell check dictionary is void of many common words?  It also does not detect uncapped words at the beginning of sentences or spacing issues. The word expander locks up for periods of time so cannot create new expansions. It has horrible quirks that cause expansions not to work correctly (they just don't expand) , capital letters show up in the middle of sentences and do not cap where they are supposed to, and extra ...
