Has anyone else answered ads for them. You do a really EASY test.

They offer to train you for free.. then send you emails... basically to schedule a job interview. You text them. They send you this agreement, which says that in order to work for them you need to plunk out $450 to buy their software..

This does not quite seem on the level to me.. I have been working in this industry going on 20 years. I work in house right now.. but job situation is precarious.

AGAIN or someone else has picked up on their sham. NEVER EVER should you have to buy software. The company may require you to have a certain version of Word, to have a spellchecker, etc. but usually it is something that is fairly standard in the industry and you would have anyway. I think it is a conflict of interest for a company to sell special software and I would seriously doubt the legitimacy of any company that did that.

That sounds like a lot of money to invest when you do not even know if sm - LTMT

you will like working for them. If it is proprietary software, most legitimate places would not ask you to pay for it, I don't think. However, I do not know anything about this specific company.

If you are seriously looking for a job, there are lots of companies out there that do not require an outlay of cash.

I consider myself fairly forward-thinking when it comes to technology and the new forms of communication and all, but using texting to schedule interviews and/or testing and/or negotiating for a job? That seems odd and kinda fishy.

Who did the texting and what part of the process did texting pertain to?

Well, I've done it -- I've changed to something else for work other than anything in healthcare. I was an MT for many years, and I can't see any future for decent earnings, benefits or growth unless a person wants to be in direct patient care -- if they can even break into it after all of the hard work to earn another degree. Is this common practice? I've worked for them for 7 years and now they are cutting our pay?
