Does anyone work for Fast Chart and what can you tell me about them?

now though. I see the same woman is still there. But they gave me to OP notes by a foreigner I had never done before and said I couldn't do OP notss when I told them I could and so they fired me!!! Would not recommend them.

I worked there for quite a few years. I found many of the QA dept very nasty, and the one that seemed nicer than the rest, turned out to be a sneaky backstabber.

Then, they lost my main account. They assured me to not worry, that they would find me something to take its place. However, a few days later, the "manager" sent a cold email stating that my contract was cancelled and I was locked out. It was quite a shocker at first, but now I'm very glad, in retrospect, that I no longer work there.

Fast Chart was one of the worst places I ever worked, supposedly as an IC, but expected to be always available at their beck and call, especially on weekends. If it was my scheduled day off, I was still expected to check emails and "jump in" if needed.

At that time, they also had an oddly tiered pay system, with 20% of your committed lines expected to be accomplished on the weekends, whether there is work available or not. If this percentage was not accomplished, a fine was imposed.

On EditScript, every account I had was in one pool, with one login, and they manipulated the pool on a regular basis to fit their agenda (not always based on TAT, either).

I got a job offer from both companies today. One is for night's with much better pay and the other is during the day with some weekend hours in a month, but really low start out pay. I applied to Fast Chart, tested and then was offered a position. So, I read their contract and got to the fees section. I knew they charged a 7.50 fee for not meeting your line requirement, but then there was going to be another fee after you had been there for 90 days. This fee is calculated using some kind of formula 40.00 - (A/B)*40....A is number of lines you actually transcribed and B is the Line requirement and then there is another formula to calculate edited lines. ...

One company to stay away from is Fast Chart, but they OVERHIRE BIG TIME, and you cannot make a living, always running out of work, they ask for shifts, but it's a free for all, and they even posted in their newsletter and congats to a VR editor or edited 53,000 lines in a pay period! I have worked for this company for 6 months, and I am about to quit. I was reading some posts about Fast Chart Transcription were people said they were getting 7 cents a line with them. I don't know when that was, but she started me at 3 cents a line. Not only that, no matter how carefully I reviewed over and over the reports I did, she nitpicked everything and said my QA score was too low, 92%.
