Does Transcend supply computers? - MT

Also, they seem to have lots of different platforms. Which platform is your favorite?

No computer and when I was there I even had to buy my own Word program. Transcend really doesn't give much of anything but a headache.

As for the headache mentioned above, I think it all depends on who your ROM is. Mine was definitely a headache, and definitely not worth the stress, which is why I do not work there anymore. I even asked for a transfer to another account, going to the Employee Relations Person about it. As soon as work got back to my ROM, I heard nothing about it again. Glad to be done with Transcend. It's too bad, because for the first two years it was great. Amazing what bad can happen when a good ROM quits and they fill her position with a power hungry bully.

account threatened to go offshore unless costs were cut drastically. I didn't document properly, so what happened after that could get me sued for libel. I ended up transferring to another group, which also turned out to be problematic at that time, and I had to give up and move to a more dependable company. In any case, things were very good until they were very much not, and then being a good remote employee didn't help me at all.

Woke up to my computer dead (2.5 years old).....shut it down last night, no problems. Did not notice if the blinking light(of the power button) was on or not last night when I went to bed. In any case it was off this morning which is not the norm. DOA. Tried the obvious, unplugged, replugged in different outlet, etc. Nada. Hi all, I purchased a new computer over Christmas with a very large screen due to having poor eyesight. Everything seems fine until I get into ChartScript, where everything is so very, very small. It is worse than with my smaller screen. I have to literally stand up and put my nose to the screen to make sure I have correct patient info in the demographics, etc. Any suggestions? Is there something on the screen itself I can adjust, or do you think it is within ChartS ...

(Moderator - please do not move to tech forum as this is a Medquist problem with Kapersky anti-virus program) I spent several hours this past week trying to install Kapersky, and it would not install, so I called tech support and ended up escalating the problem to "Systems Administrator." How do you go about this? Do you have to call tech and get permission? Or just download DQS, etc? I know all the techies out there will say I must "get with the times", but I absolutely hate computers! It isn't enough that you have to learn a new platform for each and every company you work for, but they think you should know all the regular "computer stuff" as well. Everyone acts like it's all something new not to be provided a computer. As a former recruiter, let me tell you that 98% of equipment sent out was not returned and this very expensive for any company. It's not Nuance's fault XP will no longer be protected.
