Medical-Legal Record Reviewer - Kathy

We currently have two positions open.  Duties of a Record Reviewer include: Review all types of records, compiling and summarizing key information from records relevant to various physicians’ specialties in a timely manner utilizing various preferred formats. The business is mainly for California Workers’ Compensation cases, medico-legal case reviews and various other associated industries.

Candidate should have experience in reviewing medical, psychiatric, legal, personnel, depositions, and administrative records including experience with QME and AME report; and be knowledgeable of the various important key information within QME/AME reports in relation impairment ratings, causation issues, and apportionment details. WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN IF YOU HAVE MEDICAL EXPERIENCE.                                                                                                                                                                                                  This job is contract only with compensation based on final product. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail oriented reviewer to obtain a long-term contract with a well-respected and stable US-based company.

 Tasks Include:

  • Review, organize, and summarize all types of records with the ability to pull key information relevant to the various specialties (orthopedic, psychiatric, etc…) to assist clinicians in their QME/AME and expert practices.
  • Compile key information in a legible and sensible format to easily be reviewed and understood by QMEs following the company’s guide and format.
  • Must have proper spelling and use of grammar
  • Important to be able to follow clear directions
  • Ability to be detailed oriented and prepare reviews in a timely fashion while staying under a deadline
  • Ability to operate individually and incorporate feedback on a permanent basis.
