Doing some rough math, to make 30,000 dollars a year, you'd have to edit 400 lines an hour.
Maybe, maybe under perfect circumstances one could edit 400 lines/hour on a rare occasion, but having perfect circumstances every single day, we all know that would never happen.
For me, I've never been able to get close to 400 lines an hour.
When I worked only transcription, I could easily type 200 to 250 lines/hour. Those were the days.
