Not at lunch, not on break, not at home. You only discuss cases with other medical professionals involved in that patient’s care. Period. Just because you don’t give names doesn’t mean others around you can’t figure out who the person is. Respecting privacy is extremely important. If you can’t do that then you need to find another line of work.
