All I can say is why? This profession is dying. If you have an in-house job, keep it. But then again, it will probably be phased out soon. My advice is find a different position using the transferrable skills you have now. Really. The pay is dismal and the work is rough, when you can get it. Even if a company states they have 'tons of work' that will end soon too as most over hire. Good luck to you but really, just don't do it. If you need to work from home, perhaps try Daily Transcription, a company that transcribes videos and television shows. Stay away from medical transcription.
