Excuse me, I did make an inaccurate statement by choosing the word "norm." I was referring to the fact that a lot of the companies I see posting jobs lately are paying 6 and 3, so I really should have stated they pay slightly better than a lot of the jobs I see posted lately. Yes, they do pay 2 cpl for canned text or anything templated, but if the templated text is changed in any way, the regular line rate applies.
