Job Requirements:Performs transcription/editing of medical dictation for inclusion in medical records and patient charts.
Responsibilities:
Transcribes dictated reports accurately within established standards.
Transcribe and interpret the dictation into diagnostic test results, operative reports, referral letters, and other documents
Identifies mistakes in reports, and check with previous medical providers to obtain the correct needed information
Clarifies unclear or incomplete documentation and flags report requiring attention of supervisor or provider.
Utilizes reference materials appropriately to facilitate the accuracy, clarity and completeness of reports.
Meets productivity requirements and follows established transcription guidelines.
Compiles with policies and procedures related to medico legal matters: including confidentiality, amendment of medical records, release of information, patients' rights, medical records as legal evidence, etc.
Requirements:
Must have strong knowledge of medical terminology.
Two-three years transcription experience.
Knowledge of medical transcription guidelines and practices
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, disease processes, signs & symptoms, clinical medicine, surgery, diagnostic tests, radiology, pathology, pharmacology, and the various medical specialties as required in areas of responsibilities
Knowledge of procedure codes, diagnosis codes, and medical records procedures preferred
Able to read, write and speak English fluently
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including English usage, grammar, punctuation, and style 
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent is required
A 1-year certificate program or 2-year associate’s degree which includes coursework in anatomy, medical terminology, risk management, legal issues relating to healthcare documentation, and English grammar and punctuation is preferred.
Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of PCs and systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Payment- upto 6 cent/Per Line Rate:
