Windows 7 and inability to play voice files. - MTfor years Posted: Jun 23rd, 2018 - 7:00 pm
I have a problem. My older computer cannot play certain voice files using a specific player provided by the company, yet the Windows Media Player can play everything, which does not do me any good since I use a foot pedal. But....my laptop which has Windows 10 on it can play these same voice files without any difficulty. Do I safely assume that a particular Codec might be missing in Windows 7, which is found in Windows 10, is my sole problem? Is there a simpler solution to this problem outside of upgrading to Windows 10?
