Company Board

So true - SM

One of my best friends just started a new "IC" job a few weeks ago. When she was hired, they gave her the choice of employee or IC status. She chose IC due to needing the flexibility of being able to make her own hours since she has two kids, the youngest being only 4 years old. They are now trying to make her work a set schedule. I told her what they are doing is against the law and that she should report them, but, of course, she needs the job and doesn't want to rock the boat. Far too many companies are being allowed to get away with treating their ICs like employees.
