I think we type 2 spaces after a period for MM, but their software shortens that to 1 space after a period. CHEEEEP. When I worked nights for a hospital, I had access to the administrative software since I was all alone in the department at night. There was a feature which allowed exclusion of any character from the line count. Imagine if you were not paid for 'e.'
