Software - Needed

Dropbox is a file transfer program. Your employer places the voice files in it. You have access to it via a downloaded app-like program and they would give you a password. I do not think it has a cost to it. You download the files to your computer. You will need to have a software program in order to play the files such as ExpressScribe or some such program. Some offer a "free trial", but eventually you will have to pay for the program rights. Some can get rather costly. You will also need a foot pedal in order to play the files and advance them forward so that you can listen and type as you go. Windows 7 is compatible with all of these things. The cost to start doing this can be expensive... most likely in the $500 range to start. If you do not have any of these things on your computer, I would question as to whether you were prepared to do transcription from home. Have you been trained?
