When we did typing, I feel we got paid to do research and research the blanks. Now with the wages cut in half, I feel they do not pay us to research. We are "editors" not researchers. if the speech engine doesnt pick it up and I cant figure out what is being said, thats it. I will research spelling, etc. but if its not a term i dont recognize and cant find within 30 seconds, I let it go. Editors edit work and not research. now if you want to pay me a decent pay, we can talk about less blanks.
