Wow... this is super depressing - wake up call

Posted: May 27th, 2018 - 5:55 am

So I'm cleaning out my tax files since you are only supposed to keep 7 years worth..... and I'm going through the 2010 folder to make sure I don't need anything in there before I toss it all in the shred pile.

Just wow.  I don't suggest anyone look at any old pay stubs.  I mean, I know we all complain about what we used to make but I never actually looked at it before.

In 2010 I was an employee at DSG (long ago sold) only working part time.  I was making 6 cpl ASR and 9 cpl MT.  My checks were averaging between $950 and $1150 every 2 weeks after taxes.  I would give my right boob for paychecks like that again (can't give an arm or leg cuz then I couldn't work lol)!

I seriously want to cry now.  8 years later and I'm ready to sell my house and move in with my mom because I can't pay my bills.... at 50 years old.
