Research shows ten years ago 10,000 MTs mostly in US, now still 10,000 most in other countries, estimate 6. So this means most of the layoffs and firing over the years are US MTs. The hospitals are in the US. Not sure what to think since I don’t have all the facts considering technology advancement, but doesn’t sit right with me. Yal are running out of work and I was offered a job with decent pay?
By the way, I found how many are left. I won’t post it on here, but it is not many out of 10,000!!! Very disturbing for US MTs who deserve better in their own country and we’re let go, it sounds like, for unfair reasons. I am starting to understand all the bad reviews.
