I'm glad you mentioned you have plenty of varied acute care. I made the transition from years of acute care to pathology quite easily, though I did have the guidance of someone who was familiar with abbreviations you don't necessarily hear in acute care. Other than the abbreviations, the diseases and internal anatomy should come easily to you. The fact that you've done specimens is also a plus.
If you had said "clinic to pathology," I'd give that a big "no."
