like an advertisement for an "in-house" position, probably retained from a long time ago when these types of places were actually hiring anybody, and nobody proofed it before posting. I highly doubt they would expect a remote transcriptionist to "answer phones". That would be nearly impossible to do, although in some instances it could work, but not just on a part time basis. the set up alone would be too costly, and since they do not want to pay MTs what they are worth anymore, I doubt they would go for that added expense. The remote employers do not really appreciate the MTs for anything anymore, other than getting the work done as cheaply as possible. They could care less about the "extra mile."
