I don't play their games. I don't have time to play their games for a chance to win a prize I don't want or need. As far as I know, they have never asked MTs if we enjoy this "play for prizes" MT week "gift." I doubt many do. Want to do something for me? Keep me on my primary for a week. Have work for me for a week. Send me a nice note in the mail saying I'm valued. No negative comments from my supervisor for a week. Of course, the company could afford to send us a gift, but they won't. At least they aren't giving the whole "we donated money to a charity in your honor" BS. What charity? Oh, maybe it wasn't done.
