You are supposed to give the employer you are applying with an 800 employment verification number with MM. If you do not, your HDSM will. When that employer calls that verification number for you, they will be asked to enter a credit card number. They have to pay to have your employment verified. Most people will not do that. And BTW, there will be NO references. They only state the dates you worked there and how much money you made.
I had a very hard time getting replies to my resumes. Finally, someone told me that they could not get references for me, and would not pay for the employment verification.
