She does not do any PTO approvals until the work hour needs are established based on predicted amount of work, which is only done 2 weeks at a time. Absolutely no consideration for our need to know! I certainly cannot expect the world to bow to my needs! Family gathering can't wait to be scheduled according to when and if I get PTO. I can't afford to not use airline tickets I bought when they were at a lower price or pay for last minute tickets. Many activities, such as interest-related seminars, workshops, shows require commitments and nonrefundable payments greater than 2 weeks prior to an event. Didn't have this problem back before we became MM.
