Most of you probably already knew this but I had no idea. I was laid off last week and went by the Job Center today to check on TAA and sample resumes since it has been a long time since I’ve applied for a job. I was told by the lady I talked with that a lot of companies use a “bot” to evaluate resumes and apparently it rejects ones that do not meet their criteria so those resumes never even make it to a human being. That may be a reason people never get any response from their resumes. I’m providing a link to one of the articles I found while I was doing a little research on this. Hope it is helpful to someone.
