Thank you for your input but I wasn't asking anyone what I could afford. I will go on Medicare on June 1. If I am offered COBRA I have 60 days to accept or decline. If I have no unforeseen medical catastrophes in that timeframe, I don't need to accept and I wouldn't have to pay anything. My original question was and still is: Is there anyone who was working for Nuance part-time (30 hours) who quit and was or was not offered COBRA.
