I actually consider myself one of the lucky ones. I was running out of work while being moved through PM since January and finally let go on March 27th. They didn’t even let me finish my final warning. I considered myself a really good reliable employee and was with them for almost 13 years. Why I consider myself lucky is unemployment didn’t even question approval. They said I was an unusual case being with a company for that long. I didn’t want to get “fired” but really needed the break and the change.
