Ordinals - Words Posted: Apr 13th, 2018 - 9:10 am
Our instructions say, "Use ordinals (1st, 2nd, 3rd) to indicate position in a series." Examples of 10th grade, 8th rib, and 2nd phalanx were given. Anybody know about a 3rd ventricle? My brain hurts and I can't think this one through. Should that be ordinal or spelled out? And what about in the name of a procedure (endoscopic third ventriculostomy)?
