My orthopedic doc has referred several times to a surgical procedure that sounds like "Defrees" excision arthroplasty to straighten a toe. I cannot come up with anything that sounds like this. He is South African and trained and practiced there so he could be referencing a European term. Anyone have any idea what this might be? Thanks!!!
