Federal law or Tennessee state case? - fellow MT

Posted: Mar 23rd, 2018 - 2:32 pm In Reply to: I have a lawyer waiting in Tennessee to take on MM - old MT

I recall someone mentioning they had a lawyer waiting before. Is the lawyer looking to do just a class-action suit? Why can't he do a suit for just you? I ask because I have the sense a lawyer may just be fishing for a possible case and would only check for a legal basis to decide if there is indeed a case. Class action suits make lawyers rich. The get the lion's share of the settlement when all is said and done. I'm still feeling burned by the class action suit settled in 2009 when all us MQ MTs got was a 1-year membership to ADHI.

I have seen a company employee list with contact information in Utilipro in the past. Don't know if it is still there, but I certainly think they have done what they can to make it difficult to find out who to contact because TSM email signatures no longer have the escalation contact path.
