at least one MTSO I know personally in the Midwest is Not getting .16/line (65 character), and in some cases has had to go to .10/line just to get new clients. Believe me, they are struggling as well. And do not, yes, do not, outsource to India. I think it is safe to say that over the last 20 years, transcription rates that practices are willing to pay have not gone up much, if at all.
