I wanted to be a nurse but back in the "olden days" you had to live in a dorm at the hospital. My mother refused as she didn't want me living "away from home" even though it would have been in the same city. There are a bunch of jobs available for nurses that pay well. How many can say that for MT? Please don't give up a good nursing job for this crappy so-called "profession". It is dying a slow and very excruciatingly painful death and we MTs are taking the brunt of it.
