I am a newcomer to medical transcription, although I have worked in the medical field all my life -- first as a nurse and then as a medical editor for 25 years.
I am about half-way through my medical transcription course (self-paced) through the Mildred Elley School, which is based in Albany, N.Y. (I am based in Tucson, Ariz.)
I will soon be looking for assignments and would appreciate all the help and guidance I can get!
