As stated in the article, one of the factors that has fostered this practice is the weakening of the unions. Well done, politicians who have convinced the American pubic that unions are inherently evil. Unions, just like any other organization, are not perfect and have their own set of problems. However, they can provide, and HAVE provided, protection for their members against unfair business practices used by powerful business entities.

America, please wake up and realize the power is where the money is. If corporate America has all the money, they have all the power and workers are at their mercy. If, however, we have a revival of unionization, workers will once again enjoy strength in numbers and pooled resources.

As we see more and more Americans falling into poverty, are we going to believe the next attempt by politicians and corporate America to somehow pin the blame on workers again? Please.
