I have seen that on the Indian web sites too. The MTSOs require 1300 lines per day minimum from their US MTs. THAT is the biggest difference between the US and Indian MTs. They may be cheaper but they are definitely less productive, meaning it would take 2 to 3 Indian MTs to equal the productivity rate of 1 US MT. And if some of the Indians are making 1 to 3 cents per line (per the Indian MT web sites), and now some US companies are offering 2-3 cents per line to US independent contractors, where is there any savings AT ALL in hiring Indian MTs?
