Mom, back when you went into the field, there were people to help you. It isn't like that anymore. These days, a "newbie" is someone who went to MT school. Not only will they not hire her, they wouldn't even test her without schooling. You can't throw her to the wolves like that.

This field has gotten so bad, that the best MT schools in the country are no longer teaching MT. Think about that for a while before you "help" her. And I'm with the poster that says to let your daughter do the researching. Wow, so she filled out a couple of her own applications? That's impressive, but I think you need to let her figure this out.
