and exactly what protected entities the term comprises in the context of EEO are clearly defined in law, which the OP could have discovered with a few moments of research (which I am not going to do for her/him--I'm sure Google is available wherever she or he is).

It is not a conspiracy to disadvantage whatever group the OP identifies with.

The employer is simply stating that their employment/hiring practices conform to the law. It is not a personal attack on the OP.
