Just got hired by M*Modal. Mistake? I have 21 years experience, and my former company closed their transcription department because "it was not profitable." I had 16 years with them and found out that they kept several transcriptionists with 2 years service or less. They got rid of all employees who received benefits (grandfathered from company they bought out in 2001), which they no longer offer. Are there grounds for a lawsuit because of length of service? I always had 100% accuracy and produced triple or more the minimum requirements for production.
